We are a small business focused on helping grassroots sports teams save money on essentials like kit and equipment, and raise money through grants and other fundraising.

We’re a small, friendly team based in Oxted in Surrey, and most of our work is office-based. Our office environment is relaxed and casual, with our standard hours being 9-5, Monday-Friday.

Customer Account manager

My Club Europe PLC – Oxted

We are looking for an Account Manager on a full-time basis in our offices in Oxted (M-F 9-5) to join our Sales Team.

PLEASE NOTE: There is no scope for remote working, and we do not sponsor applicants to travel to the UK.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Sales experience.• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.• Attention to detail.• Hard working.• Possess a confident and calm manner, both in person and on the telephone.• Have attained minimum qualifications in English & Maths to GCSE Grade C (or equivalent).• Have a previous employment history or experience that has transferrable skills to fulfil this role.• Be able to work daily from our offices in Oxted.

The successful candidate should demonstrate:

Sales: The Account Manager must be able to demonstrate sales acumen and have the confidence to up-sell. (Product training provided)

Business Development: The Account Manager must be confident and comfortable with new business development – by cold calling or emailing prospect clients when necessary.

Accuracy and Attention to Detail: The account manager must demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling customer orders and specifications to ensure the final sports kits meet the customer’s expectations.

Understanding and Recording Customer Requirements: The role involves comprehending and accurately documenting customer requirements for custom-designed sports kits, including design preferences, sizes, quantities, and any special requests.

Proficiency with 3rd Party Software: The account manager should be proficient in using 3rd party software and tools to efficiently process and manage orders, track inventory, and communicate with customers. (Training provided)

Experience in Customer Account Management: Prior experience or transferable experience in sales/customer account management is essential, as the role involves building and maintaining relationships with clients, addressing their enquiries, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the order process.

Efficiency: Efficiency is crucial to ensure that orders are processed quickly and accurately. This includes managing timelines, coordinating with production teams, and meeting customer expectations regarding delivery.

Speed: While maintaining accuracy, the account manager should work efficiently to meet customer demands and process orders promptly. Timely responses to customer enquiries and order updates are vital.

Diligence: The account manager must be diligent in managing customer accounts, tracking orders, and resolving any issues promptly to ensure smooth and error-free transactions.

Articulate Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for clear and effective communication with customers and internal teams. The account manager should be able to articulate ideas and solutions clearly and will be responsible for processing customer requirements from inception right through to the manufacturing factory.

In summary, a Custom Designed Sports Kit Account Manager should possess a blend of accuracy, communication skills, software proficiency, and efficiency to effectively manage customer accounts and deliver high-quality custom sports kits.

Experience with the following software would be helpful, but the confidence and ability to adapt and learn third party preparatory software is an advantage and training will be provided where required for the right candidate.
