Andy Craddock and Birmingham Wheelchair Basketball – Financial support for Wheelchair Basketball

Wheelchair sport is the most inclusive sport in the world. Anyone can play, regardless of disability or non-disability. In a crisis or just having a bad day, the Birmingham Wheelchair Basketball family is there to support. On the pitch and off, the club has grown together to support one another, build determination, resilience and to go out there and pass on the knowledge they have learnt to everybody else.

The club hosts coffee mornings around Birmingham to promote inclusive sports and diversity, to show that anybody can play sport and support mental health and well-being. Another reason why they started these coffee mornings is to invite people along to come and try different activities and to have a chat about what they want to do and how the club can help them. The club now encompasses other activities such as Par badminton and are starting, a world first: American Wheelchair Football.
